Do I have to pay and print a shipping label via Paypal for an Ebay item that I sold in order to clear my hold?

I have a 21 day hold on my Paypal account for 2 Ebay items that I sold. It tells me to print out a shipping label with Paypal, but the price for the label and the postage is overpriced. I was wondering if I could simply just write the name and address of the recipient? Will that still clear my hold or do I have to print with them? How do they confirm my delivery if I don't print from their label?Do I have to pay and print a shipping label via Paypal for an Ebay item that I sold in order to clear my hold?
Hi,

You need to ship item %26amp; use delivery confirmation. Once the item shows proof of delivery you will get your funds released, it has nothing to do with the buyers source of funds, its either a high price sale or you are new to ebay and or low feedback. If you dont ship through paypal you'll wait longer to receive your income. Why is the shipping over priced? Whatever it was that you sold you should check on postage fees prior to the auction. Since you can't ask the buyer for more $$ you'll have to pay the difference. Again, get delivery confirmation.Do I have to pay and print a shipping label via Paypal for an Ebay item that I sold in order to clear my hold?
The 21 day hold is seperate from the shipping issue. You can pay for and print shipping labels through PayPal. It's easy and as long as you enter accurate weights for packages the postage is what you would pay at the post office. Shipping with Priority through PayPal also gives you free delivery confirmation.

The 21 day hold is due to a question about the source of the funds used to send the payment to you. That hold will clear when the funding issue is resolved, usually 21 days to make sure funds are available and legal.

You are not obligated to ship until you have confirmed and cleared payment. E mail the buyer and tell them what;s going on and let them know that shipping will be delayed until payment clears.
I'm only 15 but I sell on eBay from time to time. You may write out your own addresses etc and use ordinary stamps, and then go to the option which says ';Mark item as sent'; when you have posted it. Does that make sense?

How can a person labeled a sex offender be cleared?

there was no proof but served time for several years, jumped bail, now this person is scared out of his wits!

he said he will not go back and is on the run.is there help for this man? who can he talk to without being judged to get help? can he clear his name and live a normal life? any legit legal answers? How can a person labeled a sex offender be cleared?
sex offenders should be branded for life thats what makes us safer.

he was obviously convicted so he is filth and needs to get caught and locked back up for safety of othersHow can a person labeled a sex offender be cleared?
re-trial maybe? jumping bail wasnt a smart move though.
Suicide ?
Your question is not really that specific as to how this person was ever labeled a ';sex offender'; . . . Was he sitting in Church one Sunday; praying, and then suddenly two men-dressed-in-black, appeared with a ';label'; and then announced to all the local TV, Radio, and News Media, available, that this person was now hereby labeled as a ';sex offender';? . . . Because there are lots of labels that can be stowed about for whatever . . . Remember what happened to William Jefferson Clinton? . . . ';That all depends on what the meaning of the word, IS, is.'; . . . Well, apply that type of ideology to your ';this person'; . . . It's only fair to everyone involved . . . Especially those who have been so labeled, ';sex victims'; or ';victims of sex'; . . . Then perhaps you will want to re-word your question . . .
you're going to have to face the music. but if you insist on being ridiculous and running away for the rest of your life, good luck...

you might be able to try to contact a legal advisor, or a lawyer for human rights. it might be best to discuss it over the phone at first and make sure they dont have a legal duty to report you.
there must have been some reasonable doubt for him to have served time.

any lawyer should be able to help without judging
If this person jumped bail, what is he hiding? If there's nothing to hide, you hide nothing! Are we talking to that person? Hmmmmmmmm
I will say that, where it really counts, you can't get that record cleared. Even when something is supposedly purged from your record... it's there.

I work for a defense engineering firm and the managers here have chatted with me about how the tiniest things that happened in the past linger, even when they are supposedly purged or not even filed in your 'permanent record'. For secret clearance here, they do a thorough background check, and all that stuff is there, regardless of what they tell you has been done with it.

If you're a sex offender (and regardless of whether you did it or not, if you're labeled that, then you are to all intents and purposes), it's sticking with you unless you head to another country.
The police would have to find evidence contradicting the current evidence. But if he doesn't want to go to jail, he should jump ship and go to another country.

But once you're convicted for a sexual crime you're a sex offender for life
is that man you?....no way to clear that....you know the saying...your past will haunt you!~%26amp;
I'm pretty sure that there is no way to clear your rap sheet after becoming registered. I don't know anything else, sorry.
No, unless he's found to be not guilty it's with you forever.
Jumping bail has made him look guilty. If he had nothing to hide then why didnt he hold his head up high and prove he didnt do anything wrong? Why didnt he try for a retrial? They must have some evidenve to convict him, therefore he is guilty and he should be away from the public. If you know where this person is you need to turn him in. If you dont you could be punished by the authorities for hiding him
No proof but served time? He made matters worse by jumping bail. He needs an attorney and needs to try to clear his name. Find one and negotiate his surrendering himself to the proper authorities.
There is no way to clear that persons name. He'll remain a sex offender till the day he dies. Unless there is some proof that shows he is innocent.

Go to a big office supply place, they have clear plastic sticky -backed labels. Usually right near the photo-print paper. Then, design your label, and print it out onto the clear plastic sheet. Peel off the backing and stick it on your bottle. I think they are meant for windows, so they should be designed to stick on glass.I want to create a label for a wine bottle that I can print onto a clear piece of paper, peel and stick on.?

How do they add cherry flavoring to clear soda without making it red or listing the ingredient on the label?

Most flavourings, as well as many beverages, actually don't have any colour at all. The colour is actually added so it just looks pretty. Read the ingredients on any can of dark pop (Coke, root beer, Dr. Pepper), and you'll likely see caramel colour listed in there.

Also, flavouring for beverages is so highly concentrated, that even if it were coloured, the few drops required to flavour the drink would likely be diluted. How do they add cherry flavoring to clear soda without making it red or listing the ingredient on the label?
Cherry flavoring is clear rather than red. You can also include items in the ingredients by saying ';natural and artifical flavors'; without spelling out exactly what those ingredients are. As long as the item being added is in a very small amount, it can be included in that category. How do they add cherry flavoring to clear soda without making it red or listing the ingredient on the label?
Remember the Keibler Elves? Well, there has been less work for them, since people are eatting less cookies. They are having to branch out. In order not to cause any legal problems or conflict of interest claims, they are now using their magic to flavor water. The press release reads: Magic elves use magic to flavor water, in hopes of this balancing out the fat in their cookies. We hope you will try the water as you eat our cookies. Only magic elves can make something good, from absolutely nothing at all!!!!

There you have it. Any questions?

I really don't think there's anything you can do to keep the label intact when firing.

There's a solvent on the market that will remove the label intact(depending on the adhesive used.) You can get it at the craft store. It's called un du.

To programers. In Visual Basics 2005 how do I make a 'radio' button make text in a 'label' clear? What's code?

I'm taking a coputer science class and need to know in VB 2005 how to make a radio button make the text in a lebel clear. Also I need to know how to make a difference radio button make the text bold in the label (lbl) as well. Any programers out there know the code for this in Visual Basics 2005?To programers. In Visual Basics 2005 how do I make a 'radio' button make text in a 'label' clear? What's code?
In .NET (and VB.NET), a radio button is really a special type of the CheckBox object. And then you'll want to set it's Text property to an empty string ';';.

If you need more than this, it's really just a matter of firing up Visual Studio, creating a new Windows Forms project and dropping in a CheckBox and playing with its properties in design view.

Carmex? It comes in different formulations, a tube of balm, or originally a little white glass pot of soft yellow balm, with a yellow metal lid. It's possible it also comes in a clear gel formation, but it definitely would have a yellow label.

Another cold sore OTC med is Camphophenique, not sure whether it comes in a gel, or what the label looks like.

I've have a Western Electric desk phone from the 70s. I'd like to change the label in the plastic dial to my current phone number, but have no idea how to get to it. insert a paper clip in the small hole between the #9 and #0. There is a small metal tab underneath the plastic fingerwheel. While depressing that small metal tab, turn the plastic fingerwheel counter clockwise to remove the fingerwheel. How do I change the number label on a clear plastic dial Western Electric rotary phone?
all I had to do was turn the dial past the zero finger hole to remove the plastic fingerwheel on my March 1983 model Stromberg Carlson. In other words, zero's finger hole was turned past the metal fingerstop .

use a nail file... the center pops out
Look for a small hole in the ring around the number. I used a paper clip tip to fit. Dial a 9 or 0, and push the pin in the hole. I believe you turn the disk clockwise to remove it. To replace, it has to be pushed on and rotated counter to lock. You will hear a click. When putting it back on, make the number tilted to the right a little, so you can rotate it into a lock condition..Haven't done it in years, but that is my best recolection.

Why did you use clear address labels on your wedding invitations?

Anyone who is familiar with my answers knows that I am against address labels-- period.

But I just have to know, from those of you who think that clear labels are better than regular ones, why? By my way of thinking, the clear labels are just as bad (or worse) because they are plastic and shiny.

Alright... I know my question is nit-picky. But Im just curious. What is your rationale with this? Why did you use clear address labels on your wedding invitations?
I used clear address labels because it looked less tacky, it looked like the writing was printed or stamped right on the envelope, rather than being bordered in white like junk mail sent to ';dear occupant';... I used a matte-finished label, so it wasn't plastic/shiny looking.

I didn't hand write the addresses mainly because - My handwriting sucks. Also, after proof-reading and organizing my guest list and addresses on the computer, it was the best way to avoid any mistakes on the actual envelopes. Why did you use clear address labels on your wedding invitations?
I addressed all my invitations by hand, but on the reply card envelope I put clear labels stating my address. I chose clear labels because my envelopes were a creamy color and that way the labels blended in better with the envelopes. And the labels were high-end, so they weren't ';plastic and shiny'; as you put them. It was barely noticeable, unless you looked hard.

I don't think they looked bad at all (and I can be a pretty picky person), but that's my opinion.
I didn't use address labels, I put the size of my envelope into Word as the paper size and then typed the addresses for each envelope on a separate page (like each page was an envelope) and made it in pretty cursive font. Then I printed them on the envelope. Be sure you test this first before printing all of your envelopes. It took me a few tries, but it came out looking great. A lot of people thought I had someone professionally calligraphy them.

I agree that for a wedding invitation labels just look tacky.
We're probably going to go with either clear or colored labels. The white ones are very ';office supply store'; to me. I'm all for things that save me time (such as printing labels for my invites) but I don't want to use something that random junk mail senders use, such as white labels. And while I don't think anyone spends a nanosecond paying attention to what invitation envelopes look like (my friends and family have better things to do than that) for me it's an aesthetic thing.

    That's my .02 anyway.
I plan on writing it all by hand, but I really don't get why this is such a big deal. I mean, really, who cares about an envelope that is going to be ripped apart and thrown away immediately? I know what etiquette books may say, but this is the real world where most people could not really care less about address labels. I wouldn't use them simply because it costs money/time to get them printed and I would rather just write them myself.

    I say there are more important things to be ';against.';
I used white ones. I agree that the clear ones are worse, because they look plastic. Our envelopes wouldn't fit into the printer, so we'd have had to hand-address them. You should handwrite the addresses - get your bridesmaids to help you!
I have never seen an invitation with labels, its more personal in hand writing.... If you dont like yours, Im sure you have a friend with nice hand writing...
Etiquette books say no, but we are no longer living in the 1950's I had 350 invitations to send out and planning to do. I did not have time to do handwritten, I found a printer who did great calligraphy labels for me.
I think it's fine. We have to keep in mind that there's a lot of stress that goes into planning a wedding.

    Two Words:

    Edwardian Script
No. All personal correspondence, ESPECIALLY something as important as a wedding invitation, should be hand-addressed. IT is bad manners to mechanically address your invitations by any means, including printers and labels.
No way! It's tacky and lazy. If you are taking the time to send them out then take the time write them out. My Mom helped me. Call in some favors from friends that have nice handwriting.
NOPE! This is where you need to call in a favor from a friend with nice handwriting. I know its a pain but etiquitte calls for hand addressed envelopes. Dont skimp on this one. This is your only chance to make a good first impression about your wedding. Do you want it to look 1/2 a**ed?I dont think so.
    no
I was reading answers here but personally I like the pre clear labels, I think it makes it look more elegant. We handwrote ours but only because my husband wanted to write all of it and he had nice handwriting. I think it looks more formal. Besides, nobody really notices things like that anyways and it is your wedding do what you want. Don't listen to poeple. If you jsut wanted opinions mine is if you like the look go for it. I know I like it! Congrats on your upcoming wedding. It is a blast just goes by too fast!
It depends on how formal your wedding is.
I used clear mailing labels, and they looked just fine. A lot of folks I know used labels for their invitations. Whatever you feel is best for you, you should do.
    whyever not?
Someone I know did that and contrary to popular belief it did not make me think any less of them!! I mean really.....if someone doesn't get a good ';impression'; based on how the envelope is addressed then that is their problem.

Whoever gets the invitation should be honored to be invited to your wedding. Do whatever makes you happy. It's YOUR day. Labels will make everything a lot easier for you and you can pick out a nice script font. I would have used them for my inviations if my sister hadn't volunteered to handwrite them for me.
Ok, any wedding magazine or etiquette book has the answer, NO. You can't do it. My cousin did and so many people commented on how tacky it was, she tried to match the letters to her invitation wording and colors and it was horrible. Not to mention it's impersonal. It's like saying ';We want you to share the most special day of our lives with us, here's a computer print out, please come.'; Hand write them, I know it's a pain but start early. Trust me, I did mine and it took awhile so if you have your invitations back I would start printing the ones you know. As others have mentioned ask your girls for some help, my mom helped me out!

    Congrats and good luck!
lots of things have changed, it is okay, not old-time proper, but this day and age...fast paced....yes, clear lables will be fine.

I need to print clear, adhesive labels at home...?

im looking to print/ produce my own lables for small glass bottles. the lables need to be adhesive( strong adhesive needed) and clear, and will be very small, about 1'; circle around or 1'; square. i would like to be able to print high quality fonts and graphics in full color. cost is NO object... if you know anything about this stuff, please answer back with brands or models that i can look up online. THANKSI need to print clear, adhesive labels at home...?
You should print one that says ';D!ckhead'; and put it on your head.I need to print clear, adhesive labels at home...?
Any computer store should carry the clear label material. (You may need to trim it after printing if you can't find sheets with the size labels you want.) All I've found is for inkjet printers only. I haven't found any that works with color laser printers, although I've been told there is some out there.

If you want it to be a really permanent label, spray a thin coat of clear paint/laquer over it. (The same technique as used in decoupage.) This will not only stick the labels down better, but will keep the ink from rubbing off.

Having problem printing my avery clear easy peel mailing labels?

I opened the label software in Microsoft Word and typed out what I wanted on my labels but when I went to print them there was extra ink on the letters. I'm trying to print out kids names for school and every letter has extra ink on it. I tried to print on a regular plain paper and it worked exactly how I wanted it to on the labels. Avery is no help and I have Epson and they couldn't help me at all either. The labels are sticky on the back if that makes a difference. What I need to know is if I'm choosing the wrong media type. Please someone help me.Having problem printing my avery clear easy peel mailing labels?
try using the correct paper type in ur printers dialog box...

    choose not normal paper....

and choose ink save/ less than normal quality print out...that way less of ink is used...

and adjust ur printers roller ...

see ur printers manual / download manual from epson...

    if not working im/email me

what type of paper is the mailing label?glossy/shiny?Having problem printing my avery clear easy peel mailing labels?
Make sure the labels are designed for injket printers and that you're printing on the correct side of the page. I've found that the clear labels are easily put in wrong-side up, and the ink just never dries.

I printed a bunch of labels with an ink jet printer on clear labels. They won't dry. How do I dry them?

These are clear labels that are supposed to be done on a laser printer, but I didn't realize this until after we printed them. This is stuff for our wedding and I'm having trouble figuring out a way to dry them. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.I printed a bunch of labels with an ink jet printer on clear labels. They won't dry. How do I dry them?
They're right. Theyre not going to dry, atleast not completely anyway. If they're clear labels, a simple solution would be to place a blank un-used label directly over the used ones.I printed a bunch of labels with an ink jet printer on clear labels. They won't dry. How do I dry them?
I did that once with photo paper I bought a off brand. Printed pictures they were still wet the next morning. I did go back to store with picture asked for a refund. I now stick with name brands.
They won't dry. You need to get some labels designed for ink jets.

I did the same thing and two weeks later they smeared when you touched them. I got ink jet labels %26amp; in five minutes they were fine.
Well this is worth a shot, try spraying the lables with some hair spray, the hair spary will dry quickly on the lables not to mention it will help seal the ink on your lable. Can't hurt to try it what do you have to lose but the lables. So if this will work for ya you will have saved you from have to print out bunch more.

    Good Luck

Printing on clear labels with an Epson Printer?

I am attempting to use an Epson DX4400 inkjet printer to print Avery clear labels, but am not getting a print with bold definition. Any idea how to solve the problem - if it can be - or is it a case of altering setting? If the latter, set to what? Thank you.Printing on clear labels with an Epson Printer?
The problem might be is that the ink won't stick to the labels.

How do you dry inkjet ink on clear labels?

Fascinating concept lol. Since the ink is designed to be absorbed by its printing media, I don't think it would work on regular clear labels. I'd see if you could return the labels you purchased and ask someone at a print shop or Staples to find you a clear label product that will absorb the ink.

    They do exist: http://www.onlinelabels.com/material_crystal_clear_inkjet_labels.htm

Is it okay to use clear address labels for wedding invitations?

I am on a tight budget and have printed out some lovely invitations myself, however I'm not sure I buy into the ';invitations MUST be handwritten'; rule. I found some clear address labels and tried printing out a sample in a nice script font and it looked very nice. Will this be a major no-no? I really think my handwriting looks worse on such a pretty invitation! Is it okay to use clear address labels for wedding invitations?
No there is no problem with clear labels. If you handwriting is that bad I say go for it. The rules that say the ';invitation must be handwritten'; is more of a guide line. I used labels 10 years ago on mine.Is it okay to use clear address labels for wedding invitations?
If your cursive is bad, simply print. But it has to be handwritten -- printed labels are very tacky, because an invitation to a wedding is supposed to be THE most personal invitation one ever sends, therefore it needs a personal touch.

If your writing is that bad, ask someone to lend you a hand -- literally. :-)

Oh, and script fonts should never be used for address labels -- they make it difficult for the Postal Service to read/decipher.
Have you tried printing the addresses directly onto the envelopes? It takes a bit more time to do but definitely not as much time as it would to hand address them but would look better than using labels.

My handwriting looks like a chicken on crack because I've been typing for decades now so I understand why you might not want to hand write them, I really admire people who have lovely handwriting but I'm definitely not one of them...lol...

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, I'm sure with the care you're putting into planning and details it will be lovely!
    Realistically:

    - the envelopes are thrown away anyway

    - if someone makes a case about this, they shouldn't come to the wedding

    - I'd much rather receive something in the mail that's readable than something that's handwritten and the post office had to hire a private detective to figure out who it's addressed to.

    In other words...go for it.
My sister in law printed address labels in cursive/script font so it's looks like handwriting for her wedding invites.

For me, I would invite a couple of my friends and/or family over for snacks/refreshments and ask them to help me out addressing my wedding invites.
I (and I'm sure the post office) would rather see an invitation CLEARLY addressed than handwritten. And while your invitations are important, they should not stress you out. Do what you wish, and remember that the envelope will probably be thrown out after the RSVP is mailed back to you.
Go ahead with the printed labels, especially if you think your own handwriting will worsen it (I have terrible handwriting myself). I would like to add the suggestion of using a more decorative font for the labels.
Yes, it's OK. Most DIY wedding invitiation CD kits actually have an envelope printing program or clear labels in the kits as well, so if you've found something that works and look nice, do it.
Do you want a tacky wedding? Of course not. Your invitations should be as classy as your wedding is. Get a few friends or family to help and handwrite the envelopes.
If you can't handwrite them neatly yourself ask a friend or relative to handwrite the envelopes for you ... even in this comuter age, stick-on labels for wedding invitations is icky!
I think you should write them by hand. My friend once threw an invitation addressing party - a little wine, some snacks, and we all addressed her invitations. It only took a couple hours.
My mother used clear labels.. Just be sure there is no lint or dust around. Once it gets on the adhesive, its IMPOSSIBLE to get off and your guests may get an eyelash or piece of lint with their invite!

    Congrats!
Seriously, who made this rule? Use the clear stamps, nobody really gives a $hit. If they do, they need to get a life.
I believe that it is acceptable to use printed labels OR to run them through the printer yourself.
Its your wedding!! So I really think that anything you want to do is absolutley fine!! Ignore anyone who says otherwise!!

The less you spend on the invites the more you have for other things!
    Very Tacky!
Clear labels are fine. Choose a nice font that is easy to read.
    Go for it!

no but I use avery clear labels all the time. I work in a legislative office and use them for mass mailings, never have problems w/ smearing/smudging. GL

I have a laser printer - but only have clear labels for an ink jet printer. Will it work?

I can't find the right size of labels for a laser printer - so I bought the ones for an ink jet. I know that if I did it the other way around (used laser printer labels on an ink jet printer - that they wouldn't dry). But - can I use ink jet labels on a laser printer?I have a laser printer - but only have clear labels for an ink jet printer. Will it work?
it MIGHT work but if your laser printer has a heating element inside..it would likely melt your labels and ruin the printer. They're a clear ';plastic-like'; labels, right? If so, give the manufacturer a call and see what they'd suggest. Tell them what you want to do, and maybe they'll tell you you're ';good to go';..if not..they'll tell u what labels to get to achieve the outcome you're looking for.I have a laser printer - but only have clear labels for an ink jet printer. Will it work?
Clear labels should not be used in a laserjet printer. The laserjet printers use heat to make the text/images stick to the paper, clear labels are plastic and will melt or in some cases the heat lifts the labels off of the contact paper and will stick to the interior surfaces of the printer and always in places that you can't get to easily to remove them.

So the answer to your question is NO!.
no two difforent kinds of printers you can get what you need real cheap at staples or wall mart just tell them your printer brand they will help you
No. Those are plastic labels they will melt into your fuser causing permanent damage.
Yes. And please don't forget to vote best answer after you've proved me right ;)
probably, you'll want to check the package. Laser printers get hot, and sometimes they'll make plastic things like those labels melt. You don't want that.
Nope...those may actually melt in the printer ...I wouldnt use those...
no... the fuser will melt/ ruin the paper.

If you are trying to print on clear labels, is it possible to print with a white font for the letters?

My father is trying to print clear labels to put on red model trucks. He wants the print to be white. Is this possible with a standard printer, or will it require a special printer? If you are trying to print on clear labels, is it possible to print with a white font for the letters?
You can find LABEL MAKERS that print white on clear labels. Check out Brother and P-Touch label makers (not printers) at craft stores and electronic stores. If you are trying to print on clear labels, is it possible to print with a white font for the letters?
Best answer. No. Your printer (i'm guessing it's either a laser or a regular ink jet printer) does not have a ';white'; color. It works by mixing cyan, magenta, and yellow together (with the exception of black) to form your colors. You can't make white with any combination of those colors.
It will take a special printer, as most printers don't have white ink. And you can't mix the colors to end up with white.
only way is to replace all your ink cartridges with white ink.if you can find a set of cartridges empty and find a white ink to refill with check at staple or office depot some places refill ink, check with them.other than that i can help, but that would work. WHITE INK???????

What are the best clear labels that I can buy for a laser printer?

I am looking for the best quality crystal clear labels for a laser printer. When I bought some labels for this purpose, the toner would scratch off the labels when dry. I want a material that will make the toner fuse very well and be waterproof. Any ideas? Again, the highest quality is a must. Thanks! What are the best clear labels that I can buy for a laser printer?
Labels have caused more problems than anything else with printer and they can be very costly with laser jets.

One thing first, if the tona scratches off there is a problem with you fuser unit that need fixing.

    Back to the labels.

Laser quality are what you need and it will say so on the box.

High quality won't make a difference if you have a problem with the fuser. it must be on the edge of going or it would have warned you by an error message.

    Clear Labels?

Avery makes clear labels. I don't know where you are, so suggesting a store might not be helpful, but in the U.S., try Office Depot or Staples. They will have house brands that compare to Avery, usually a little lower priced that the big name brand.
    Wal-Mart sells clear labels too.
