I would like to slump bottles with the paper label on. Is there a clear glaze that will allow me to do this?

Or can you soak the label off and then glue it back on the bottle and then cover it with a clear glaze? Would like it to be permanent so I can use the bottle as a cheese tray -- washable.I would like to slump bottles with the paper label on. Is there a clear glaze that will allow me to do this?
I really don't think there's anything you can do to keep the label intact when firing.

There's a solvent on the market that will remove the label intact(depending on the adhesive used.) You can get it at the craft store. It's called un du.

Haven't the slightest. Check with a local Potter.
